No idea what the heading here should be…

Hey I finally sorted out the new design for this fitness website, and it should be alive and cute sooner rather than later. Too bad the changes we need to make inside ourselves take much longer. Why is it we are so impatient these days?
One trick I am playing with is to make the to do list smaller but with much bigger jobs - in fact now what I try to do is concentrate on only one thing during a working day. Research shows that if we continually interrupt thought processes and concentration our efficiency collapses by magnitudes.
For example I am a budding travel writer and as you can see, my current writing style is dull, colourless and boring… So every day what I do is write one travel article in longhand from the newspaper or a magazine in the hope I can “groove” my neural pathways into a nice writing style.
Bit like doing exercises in the correct manner - light weight and good form before loading up.
So I figured it might be a good idea to increase the volume and decrease the number of days I do the writing. It’s an experiment.
And the same with major tasks. I have about 80 web properties that need adsense - so I will allocate one whole day to doing this and nothing else except the non negotiables - exercise, prayer and quality time with significant others. (do you have non negotiable tasks in your day?)
Same with other major projects. History and warrior culture is my major passion, so I am working on a horseback tour of Mongolia to relive the days of Ghengis Khan, including participating in the bowsports they have during the major annual national festival. Findng like minded folks to share the trip is an interesting challenge as is physical and mental preparation…
I will have to ramp up my bow skills and shoulder strength, and spend more time in the saddle every day, plus work on the core strength and stamina needed to ride in a wooden saddle for about 20 days straight. Ouch!
So how can I combine sitting on a horse and writing travel stories to use time more effectively? What exercises are best to get the results I want? Best I can come up with so far is sort of a stand up desk, with a mounted barrel (bareback horse?) for me to sit astride on whilst I do my workaday tasks. No exercise plan yet…
Oh I am slowly recovering from the prang. Main issue is the broken collar bone and associated shoulder injuries. I have no idea what damage has occurred so I just keep popping pain killers and not using it. meanwhile I do unilateral exercises.
I weigh 80 kg but can’t do an assisted chinup of 40 kg, although I can bang out quite a few bodyweight chins with 2 hands. Can anyone tell me why half my body can’t pull up half my body weight? LOL
Anyway, if you have anything to add to this mish mash of random thoughts, feel free to comment.
